Types of BASIC Tailor-made foams
Foams have different densities, depending on the use for which it is intended (or the taste of the customer), one or the other will be needed.
Foams are measured by density and the most commonly used are:
Soft Foam – Medium Foam – Hard Foam
In addition to comfort, you also have to think about how you are going to use them and the weight they have to support. It is necessary to assess whether they are foams for:
- Foams for seats, sofas, pallets, benches...
- Foams for Children's games or pieces for mobility, rehabilitation, gyms or headboards
- Foams for For home use or professional use
- Foams for For boats, indoors or outdoors
- Foams for Upholstery.
Normally, anything that is for medium or hard seats, for renovations, children or soft headboards is recommended.
They can be of any size and shape, they are made to your taste or your needs.
Shapes: Square, rectangular, triangular, circular, cylindrical, wedge-shaped, foldable, semi-circular, shaped, etc.
We only need 3 measurements: Width – Length – Thickness. (If there are shapes, template or drawing).

- Zippers: All the work is done with zippers to be able to wash and reuse the covers, in addition to putting the zippers in an L or U shape to facilitate, sheath and unsheath the foams. In addition, you can use both sides of the piece, but you can put them as the customer needs and prefers.
- Refrains: It is a decorative element that is normally used on the perimeter or edge of foams to decorate.
